EXPERIENCE:
 
Mr. Aschaffenburg is President of HRI Lodging, Inc., HRI Propertie’s hotel operating company that currently has three Hilton hotels under contract.  In addition to overseeing the management of the company’s hotel assets, Mr. Aschaffenburg continues his responsibilities in development project management and assisting with project acquisitions.
 
Mr. Aschaffenburg as an HRI Properties Development Project Manager has successfully completed a 282-unit new build urban infill Hilton Garden Inn as well as a 155-unit historic adaptive reuse Hilton Garden Inn, both in downtown New Orleans.  Mr. Aschaffenburg was responsible for securing the financing for these projects, negotiating all agreements, creating the facilities programs and managing the project team from conception to completion of the hotels.  Currently Mr. Aschaffenburg is acting as Development Project Manager for a 313-unit full service convention center Hilton in Shreveport, LA that is scheduled to commence construction in June, 2005.
 
Mr. Aschaffenburg has been with HRI Properties since 1998 and prior to that he was an Assistant Vice President specializing in Hospitality Financing with the First National Bank of Commerce.  From 1988 through 1992, Mr. Aschaffenburg was Director of Resort and Hotel Development for Oak Tree Hotels, a division of the California based, publicly traded, Landmark Land Co.  Mr . Aschaffenburg also has an extensive background in hotel operations serving as General Manager for two luxury hotels, the Pontchartrain Hotel of New Orleans and the Waterford Hotel of Oklahoma City, OK, and served as Assistant Manager of the original Ritz Carlton Hotel of Boston, MA
